Beyond the growth in attendance and international participation, the results reflect the exhibition's ability to generate business opportunities. Seventy-one percent of attendees held purchasing authority, and 74% of decision-makers placed orders during the event. In addition, 98% of visitors reported meeting their business objectives at the show.
The 2026 edition occupied more than 34,000 square meters of exhibition space, where manufacturers, distributors, buyers, technology providers, repair shops, and specialists were able to discover new products and solutions, build relationships with distributors, and develop business opportunities for Mexico, Central America, and other markets.
An International Business Platform
International participation was once again one of the central components of INA PAACE Automechanika Mexico. The exhibition brought together companies from 29 countries and visitors from 40 markets, along with international pavilions from the United States, Germany, China, Turkey, Korea, Taiwan, and Indonesia.
This diversity turned the event into a space for Mexican and international companies to build business contacts beyond the domestic market and develop relationships with buyers, distributors, and partners from different countries.
Results on the show floor reflected this dynamism. Participating companies reported generating new business and contacts over the three days of the event. One exhibitor reported closing approximately 40 deals in the first day alone, in addition to establishing new business relationships.
Training and Innovation for the Aftermarket
Professional training remained one of the pillars of the exhibition. Automechanika Academy held more than 100 sessions, with the participation of more than 14,000 professional technicians and shop owners.
This offering was complemented by the CEDVA Training Zone, which featured hands-on training and technical challenges for mechanics, as well as Innovation4Mobility, a space dedicated to new technologies for the automotive industry that welcomed more than 5,000 attendees.
This edition also saw the launch of the Automechanika Innovation4Mobility Award, an initiative recognizing outstanding workshops in Mexico with professional equipment valued at more than USD 30,000.
The exhibition rounded out its offering with an expanded special vehicles zone, a live vehicle restoration, activities with NASCAR Mexico drivers, and a range of experiences designed to deepen interaction among visitors, brands, and industry professionals.
The Aftermarket's Biggest Topics
Industry activity began ahead of the show floor's opening with the International Aftermarket Summit, a high-level gathering that addressed some of the issues currently transforming the sector, including North American trade and tariffs, the electrification of the vehicle fleet, and new strategies for the aftermarket.
INA PAACE Automechanika Mexico also hosted Associations in Motion, a meeting that brought together representatives of aftermarket associations from Mexico, the United States, Italy, and other markets to discuss global trends and initiatives such as the Right to Repair.
The 2026 results confirm Mexico's growing role as a connecting point for the automotive aftermarket business across the continent, and the importance of having a venue where manufacturers, buyers, distributors, technicians, and technology providers can meet in one place.
INA PAACE Automechanika Mexico will return July 7–9, 2027, in Mexico City.
