Jul 20, 2023

Process Expo, show management today announced that the 2023 edition of the Global Food Equipment & Technology show will feature live demonstrations of three exclusive production lines covering Meat, Bakery and Pet treats. Going as far back as 2017, PROCESS EXPO exhibitors have built and demonstrated actual production lines that highlight the latest innovations in processing and packaging technologies throughout the supply chain. In so doing, participants show not only how food manufacturers can achieve even more efficient automation in their production, but also demonstrate the great versatility of all components and the wide variety of applications that this equipment can provide. These guided demonstrations will take place three times a day during the October 23-25, 2023, event at Chicago’s McCormick Place.

Announcing the participants of the meat production line, the organizers shared that “far from being a theoretical discussion in front of a static exhibit, manufacturers will get to see it all in action and sit with the experts to learn what these technologies have to offer.”

Curated and installed by leading design firm and FPSA member, Burns & McDonnell, the bacon line will feature a collection of leading OEMs to produce and package these products in the most efficient way possible. By incorporating AI and advanced automation into these demonstrations, we’ll be showing the end user how best to take advantage of the data for even greater production. Participating exhibitors in the meat line include:

Additionally, this project has been embraced by the industry with a generous donation of pork bellies from Daily’s Premium Meats of St. Joseph, Missouri. "We are excited to showcase the latest technologies in bacon processing and packaging at this year’s PROCESS EXPO,” said Kate Rome, Chair of the Meat Industry Suppliers Alliance (MISA) and President of Rome Grinding Solutions. “The Production Lines have long been one of the top draws at this event, giving food manufacturers an inside look at how all aspects of this line come together and how different OEMs can come together to produce an exceptional product. In addition, all components in this line can be used in applications for other products, providing our audience insight into new opportunities far beyond just bacon.”

“Our Production Line Program sets PROCESS EXPO apart from other food industry tradeshows as you simply don’t see this type of live display with actual product at other events,” said David Seckman, President & CEO of the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA). “Furthermore, since launching this concept in 2017, our members in the meat industry have led the way in determining the products our audience wants to see, and the technologies that will help them to build a competitive advantage in their production, as well as their business. “We understand how crucial it is to design the process chain efficiently and economically, taking into consideration all the requirements that companies place on hygiene and quality. Through our Production lines, we aim to bring it all together with new equipment and technology in a practical and tangible way to help attendees experience the advancements and reach a buying decision.” added Kristy Meade, Vice President of Technology Shows for Messe Frankfurt, Inc

Attendees can see these technologies live, meet over 350 suppliers from the food and beverage technology industry and access 40+ education sessions over the three day show. Registration for the 2023 edition is open and industry professionals can register here. For more information, visit www.myprocessexpo.com.
